Jennifer Long graduated from The Ohio State University in June 2011 with her bachelor's degree in psychology. Throughout her college career, she took English courses, worked as a freelance writer, and assisted other students in writing papers.

She is currently employed by the YMCA of Central Ohio, where she works with students in an after-school youth development program. She is attending graduate school at OSU, in pursuit of a master's degree in social work.

She maintains a strong interest in writing and does freelance work to supplement her income. Her writing interests include health & fitness, career development, personal finance, college education, and mental health issues.
